We had a chat with Christian Lorentzen, Event Manager at Bølgen Kulturhus in Norway. They manage around 280 productions. “Yesplan meets our needs in so many ways in regards to the information and how you can extract it from the system.”
Although they are still at the beginning of the process of expanding the integrations, Christian is really looking forward to slowly getting started. “We’re in the process of integrating and starting to use TIX as our ticketing system, which I hope will be soon. I’m looking forward to getting all the information of TIX such as the amount of tickets sold, so I can use the good reporting tools we have in Yesplan to sort it out. It will be a good tool to analyse and be better at our programming.
“In general, Yesplan has just simplified a lot of our internal processes. Some processes now take like two seconds instead of the five minutes with our previous system."
Bølgen Kulturhus is in the process of implementing the last features. “Firstly we started using the calendar and the standard fields. After a while we started to create more custom fields, when we knew what the system could do and how that could serve our individual needs”, says Christian. Bølgen Kulturhus was not used to the amount of support they can rely on when they switched to Yesplan. “I think it's really a strength that you have the support function you have. You also strive to keep on improving your system and adapting it to the changes in technology!”
“I would really recommend venues to have a look at Yesplan if they’re in need of a flexible system with a lot of possibilities and when they want more automation to save time, of course.”
