The Yesplan App on Your Smartphone

You can install the Yesplan App as an app on your smartphone or on your computer's desktop. That way, you don’t have go to your browser if you want to access the Yesplan App. But how can you achieve this?

Android

On Android, the Yesplan App can be installed using different browsers. We describe the procedure using Chrome:
  • Open Chrome and navigate to your organisation’s Yesplan installation.
  • Log in to the Yesplan App.
  • You will receive an automatic notification from Chrome asking whether you want to add the Yesplan App to your Home screen. Tap the notification and then “Add”.
  • If the notification doesn’t appear, you can tap the menu (3 vertical dots) in Chrome and select “Add to Home screen”.
  • The Yesplan App will appear on your Home screen.

iOS

On iOS and iPadOS, you can install the Yesplan App using Safari:
  • Open Safari and navigate to your organisation’s Yesplan App.
  • Log in to the Yesplan App.
  • Tap the “Share” icon (with the square and the arrow) in the toolbar at the bottom of your screen. Then select “Add to Home Screen”. You have to swipe down to see this option. Finally, tap “Add”.
  • The Yesplan App will appear on your Home screen.

Desktop

Do you want to install the Yesplan App on your computer? You can do so using Chrome:
  • Open Chrome and navigate to your organisation’s Yesplan installation.
  • Log in to the Yesplan App.
  • You will see a yellow notification at the bottom of your window asking whether you want to install the Yesplan App. If it doesn’t appear, you can click the icon (see image below) in the address bar. Then click “Install”.
  • In MacOS, the Finder will open the location of the Yesplan App. You can then move the app to any location you want (e.g. your desktop).
  • In Windows 10, a shortcut is created on your desktop automatically.
