Ticketing Professionals Conference has been running for four years now. Over two days, there’s a chance for delegates to really get involved in discussing the issues they face and to find solutions with their peers.
Our Sales Manager, Patrick Morsman, provides a personal perspective on THE conference for the ticketing industry.
Now, I suppose I have to confess that I love TPC and that I work with one of its founders but don’t let that detract from what I’ve got to say about it.
I’ve been to TPC a few times and it just keeps getting better. More attendees, more suppliers, more content, more ideas – just more really.
I have another confession – I don’t go to any of the sessions. There’s so much going on in the market place area that I just don’t have the time. The reason there’s so much going on is that the discussions that we are able to have are not just with current and potential customers but with other suppliers – talking about how we could work together to make a cohesive whole – and consultants who realise that we’re solving issues that their customers are coming across every day.
When you’re talking to web design agencies, ticketing system suppliers, extreme data manipulators (Activity Stream) and independent consultants there’s a palpable excitement about what we can achieve if we all work together. So, let’s do it. Let’s build the best interconnected systems so that Arts and Culture can continue to thrive in the UK. Gosh – that felt good!!
